Using Visitor Enhanced Optimization for high traffic on your site
Jul 26th
When creating your website, the foremost criteria on your mind is not to find the correct keywords to enhance your search ranking. In fact, when creating and designing your website, you may not be considering this crucial piece at all. You are undoubtedly not writing your articles with the main goal to be that it will be ranked highly on search engines, if that is the case, you would lose site on why you want the user to be guided all together.
In the world of SEO ranking, and the competitive nature of the internet, it is sometimes hard not to be caught up in constantly trying to manage a site that will be ranked highly among the search engines. If your only target is exposure, you will most certainly be losing out on content. When focusing too much on tools such as keyword and keyword phrases, you may be sacrificing the true nature of the site that you are attempting to build. Choosing keywords based on sources such as HYPERLINK “http://www.wordtracker.com”/t_blank WordTracker and HYPERLINK “http://www.keyworddiscovery.com” /t”_blank KeyWordDiscovery will do nothing to make your site relevant. So, in effect even if you get the traffic, it will be meaningless unless the user once guided deems it as relevant.
If a user visits your site and decides that it is not fresh, innovative, informative or relevant, they will not flag it, use it, or frequent it in the future, so where have you really gotten yourself.
Content delivery via RSS feeds, PDF’s, Blogs, Articles, Video and Podcasts are all thought up and created strategically by using sites such as HYPERLINK “http://itunes.come” /t_blank iTunes, HYPERLINK “http://youtube.com” /t”_blank YouTube and HYPERLINK “http:www.technorati.com” /t_blank Technorati, but they know nothing about the nature or subject of your site. They might tell you what is hot and what is popular, but do nothing to further your relevance to the user viewing your site.
When building your site, of course exposure is important. If you don’t have exposure you can have the most relevant and best site out there, but the only one viewing it will be you. Don’t give up content for tricks to guide the user, however. Getting users guided to your site is only half of the battle, having them visit again is the real key.
